THOHOYANDOU – Black Leopards will put their newly signed midfielder, Jaconiah "The Bull" Cibi to the test when they host Highlandspark Silver Stars in their rehearsal match that will be played at the Thohoyandou Stadium this evening (Friday).

The former Moroka Swallows centre half signed a two-year contract with Leopards on Monday. According to the Leopards' boss, Mr David Thidiela, the former Bafana Bafana player will undoubtedly solve their distribution problems in the middle of the park.

According to Thidiela, the match will serve as a measuring stick for their readiness for the BP Top 8 KO competition match against Santos. Leopards will pay a visit to Santos in Cape Town next weekend. Cibi will play along side the team's captain, Donald Mulaudzi in the middle of the pitch.

The admission fee for tonight's game will be R15 per person.

Leopards beat Highlandspark Silver Stars 2-1 in the finals of the Premier Trust Bursary Challenge Cup at the same venue three weeks ago. Lidoda Duvha will travel to Phalaborwa on Sunday. That is where they will test their strength against the Phalaborwa Invitation XI at the Phalaborwa Stadium. This one expected to kick off at 15:00.

Mr Thidiela has appealed to the residents of Phalaborwa and the surrounding areas who wish to join the club's supporters club to bring along their personal particulars to the stadium.
