Muraleni United Brothers were too strong for Gogobole Bucs and beat them 4-2 in a Limpopo Dairy match at the Gogobole grounds on Saturday.
Bucs took the game to their opponents from the onset, but were let down by the poor finishing of their strikers. They came close to scoring in the 10th minute, when Lutendo Ndwambi shot wide from close range. Bucs were strong at the far back and the striking force departments but lacked cohesion in the middle of the park. The balls that threatened the defence of United were ballooned from behind.
The centre forward of United, Tsumbedzo Mulaudzi, went into the referee's book, following dangerous play on Mashudu Mbau. United grabbed their first opportunity and Muvhulawa Rambuda scored easily in the 26th minute.
The home team realised that it was not their day when they missed three opportunities in the 28th, 30th and 39th minute respectively. The players who made the supporters jump up from their seats in disbelief were Dominic Mafuleni, Fulufhelo Ramabulana and Lutendo Ndadza.
Muvhulawa Rambuda scored his team's second goal when he received a beautiful pass from Mulalo Managa in the 43rd minute. The half-time score was 2-0 in favour of United.
Early in the second half, Fulufhelo Ramabulana reduced the margin when he scored from 20 meters out. The local lads were aggressive, with their midfielders dishing out dangerous passes to their striker, Sydney Mashau, who scored the equaliser for his team.
United scored their third goal via Nditsheni Farisani, and Rambuda completed his hat trick when he scored his team fourth goal in 86th minute, after he finished a square pass from Ndweleni Tshifura.
