Basel and the struggling Phungo All Stars will meet in a Safa Second Division match at the Makwarela Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Phungo must win the match to keep their hopes of escaping the relegation axe at the end of the season alive. Things are fast going from bad to worse in their camp. They have been giving away league points since the new season started four months ago. Their enthusiastic fans left the Makhado Eltivillas grounds with sore hearts last Saturday after Stars lost 1-2 to Modimolle Aces.
After realizing that the red lights were flickering for them, Phungo All Stars recently acquired the services of 15 new players. Most of their new recruits are expected to form part of their starting line-up against Basel FC tomorrow.
Phungo must keep a watchful eye on the Basel killer-strikers, Walter Ramulondi and Louis Chauke, or else they will regret it.
Rospa United will entertain Winners Park at the Malamulele Stadium. The spirit is high in the camp of Rospa United are holding Blue Rocks to a 1-1 draw at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen last Saturday. Magezi FC and Ray Pillars will meet at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Giyani Hotspurs will host The Dolphins at the Giyani Stadium and Masesetjane All Stars will play against Lephalale Young Stars at the Mogol Stadium.
Nobela All Stars will pay a visit to Baobab Zero Fake at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen.
The defending champions, Baroka FC, will have a date with Blue Rocks at the Jane Furse Stadium.
The only match that will be played on Sunday will be between Modimolle Aces and Mighty FC at the Ephraim Mohale Stadium in Modimolle.
