Madombidzha Arsenal fought hard to earn a 3-1 victory over Tshiozwi Dynamos in their Safa Vhembe SAB match at the Tshiozwi grounds on Saturday.
Dynamos missed countless scoring opportunities in the opening minutes. In the first instance, Mpho Mavhandu unleashed prematurely instead of moving a few steps towards the keeper. The first player who was booked for rough tackling was Muhangwi Mukosi of Dynamos. He tackled Dakalo Nwanamidwa.
No goal was scored in the first half. Arsenal found the net in the 56th minute via Ritshidze Matodzi, after he beat the offside trap. Matodzi also found the net after a rebound in the 65th minute.
Nyathi Muvhango reduced the margin when he finished off a square pass from Zane Mulaudzi.
Ritshidze Matodzi completed his hat-trick and scored the third goal of his team. He received a square pass from Rendani Sithodo and blasted in a ground cutter from close range.
Kaizer Nengovhela started writing stories for Limpopo Mirror in 2000. Prior to that he had a five year stint at Phala-Phala FM as sports presenter. In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality. Kaizer was awarded the Mathatha Tsedu award in 2014.
