There is huge interest in the Safa Second Division League match between Nobela All Stars and Modimolle Aces at the Lesley Manyathela Stadium in Musina tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.
Nobela must win the match in order to restore their pride. Unlike last season, when they finished the league programme within the top eight teams, Nobela’s performance is deteriorating over time this season.
Still fresh from a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Winners Park at home, Rospa United are geared to make The Dolphins pay for their defeat. They will visit them at the Seshego Stadium tomorrow. The match will start at 13:00 and it will be followed by another Safa Second Division League match. Ray Pillars and Baobab Zero Fake will meet at 15:00 at the same venue.
The Tzaneen-based Zero Fake are still battling to find a winning combination after gaining promotion from the SAB league last season. Phungo All Stars will play in front of their home crowd and will host Giyani Hotspurs at the Makhado Eltivillas ground. Failure to collect the maximum points tomorrow will push Phungo All Stars deep into the relegation quagmire. All Stars will rely on their midfielders, Hulisani Mathugana and Dion Phiri, for the distribution of balls to their newly signed strikers.
Masesetjane All Stars will entertain Magezi at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane. Although they are rookies in the Safa Second Division, Masesetjane All Stars had already made an impact in the higher division. In the last two matches, Blue Rocks and Lephalale Young Killers will fight for league points at the Nkowankowa Stadium, while Winners Park will host Baroka at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane on Sunday.
