Manavhela Black Aces proved to be a force to be reckoned with when they beat the unpredictable Madombidzha Try Again 3-0 in a Limpopo Dairy match at Madombidzha on Sunday.

In the first half, Try Again managed to match their opponents in all departments. Londy Musiamo of the home team was the first player to go into the referee’s book. He tackled Lucky Sadiki the rough way in the 10th minute.

Try Again posed a threat in the 17th minute when Maanda Maladzha forced his way through the Aces defence. Realising that there was nobody to assist him, the keeper of Aces, Takalani Mphaphuli, moved outside the penalty box and handled the ball. Not only did the referee award an indirect free kick to Try Again, but Mphaphuli was cautioned with a card as well.

The halftime score was still nil-nil. In the second half, both sides effected some changes. Aces finally found the net via Maanda Machaba, who came on as a substitute. After the goal, the boys from Kutama dedicated terms in the middle of the park and were rewarded with a goal in the 75th minute. Konanani Maemu scored the second goal of his team after he received a neat pass from Dineo Foromo.

Aces scored the third goal via Humbulani Phadziri.
