Away match for Dynamos

Sport  Date: 15 February 2013

The affiliates for the National First Division will be in action again this weekend, after a break of about two months. Dynamos will resume their league activities by playing away from home.

They will undertake a journey to Cape Town to rub shoulders with Milano United at Grassy Park tomorrow afternoon. Although it will be an away fixture for them, Dynamos are likely to come back home with a full compliment of points. Their performance has improved tremendously after the appointment of the former Orlando Pirates coach, Mr Owen da Gama.

Dynamos were still to win a league match when Da Gama, or Thifhuriwi as he is also known, joined them. As part of their many ways to ensure that they will retain their NFD status at the end of the year, Dynamos signed four players, Andries Dube, Mbuso Buthelezi, Richard Matlokga and Sanele Ngubane, from the local market towards the end of last month.

In the other matches that will also be played tomorrow, Sivutsa Stars will have a date with FCAK at the Kanyamazane Stadium, while Thanda Royal Zulu will host Santos at Richards Bay. Roses United will play against Jomo Cosmos in Johannesburg.

In the four matches that will be played on Sunday, Mpumalanga Black Aces will host FC Cape Town, Vasco da Gama and Blackburn Rovers meet at the Parow Park Stadium and United FC and Witbank Spurs will lock horns at the Moruleng Stadium.
