One point for Nobela’s Stars

Last weekend saw Nobela All Stars grab a vital league point in their Safa second-division match against Lephalale Young Killers. They played to a 1-1 draw at the Malamulele Stadium on Saturday.

Nobela All Stars did not move even an inch on the log, despite depositing a point into their league account. They are lying in the second last position, with 13 points accumulated from 18 outings.

Winners Park were unstoppable when they beat Blue Rocks 2-1 in Mokopane. Winners Park are leading the pack with 43 points, following their victory.

The other close league title contenders, Baroka FC, were unexpectedly held to a 1-1 draw by Modimolle Aces. The match was played at the Ephraim Mohale Stadium in Modimolle. Baroka are now lying in the second spot, with 41 points, two behind the logleaders, Winners Park.

In their Mopani derby at the Nkowankowa Stadium, Baobab Zero Fake shared the spoils with Giyani Hotspurs. They played to a goalless draw.

The Dolphins beat Mosesetjane All Stars 2-0, while Rospa United lost 1-2 to Basel FC.
