Tricky hurdle for Phungo All Stars

Sport  Date: 28 March 2013

Although they will be playing the log leaders, Phungo All Stars must win their match against Winners Park in order to enhance their chances of escaping the chop at the end of the season.

The match will be played at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane on Sunday afternoon. Phungo are fighting for survival at the bottom of the log, while Winners Park will go all out with the aim of maintaining their leadership.

The other Vhembe District-based side, Rospa United, will be lucky if they manage to come back with a draw. They will pay a visit to the defending league champions, Baroka FC, at the Jane Furse Stadium in Sekhukhune tomorrow. Baroka are a difficult side to beat and their worst result at home this season has been a draw.

The other title chasers, Basel FC, are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their match against Magezi FC. They will meet at the Peter Mokaba Athletics Stadium. Nobela All Stars will also play away from home. They will undertake a journey to Mokopane for their match against Mosesetjane All Stars.

Giyani Hotspurs and Lephalale Young Killers will lock horns at the Mogol Stadium in Lephalale. Ray Pillars will host Modimolle Aces at the Seshego Stadium.

Blue Rocks will play against Mighty FC at the Nkowankowa Stadium, while The Dolphins will host Baobab Zero Fake at the Seshego Stadium.
