Rospa United need to take revenge against Pillars

Sport  Date: 18 April 2013

It remains to be seen whether Rospa United will rise to the occasion and make Ray Pillars pay for their defeat last weekend when they meet in their SAFA Second Division League match at the University of Venda Stadium Saturday afternoon.

Rospa United are still in mourning after losing at the hands of Magezi FC at the Seshego Stadium last Saturday. Pillars must keep a watchful on the United playmaker, Marks Munyai, and the team’s captain, Mashudu “Tlolo” Mashapha, or else they will be buried alive.

Basel FC must win their match against Blue Rocks in order to keep their title hopes alive. They will fight for league points at the Makwarela Stadium. It will be time for Basel to reclaim their pride after allowing Mosesetjane All Stars to hold them to a 2-2 draw at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane last Saturday.

Nobela All Stars will have to double their efforts when they host The Dolphins at the Malamulele Stadium if they are serious about escaping relegation at the end of the season. Nobela are currently fighting for survival at the second-last position on the log.

The match of the week will be between the defending champions, Baroka FC, and Magezi FC. It will be staged at the Ngoana Mahube Stadium in Jane Furse. Giyani Hotspurs will host Mosesetjane All Stars at the Giyani Stadium. Boabab Zero Fake will entertain Lephalale Young Killers at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen.

Phungo All Stars will play against Mighty FC at the Peter Mokaba Athletics Stadium this evening, starting at 19:30. In the only match that will be played on Sunday afternoon, Winners Park will lock horns with Modimolle Aces at the Ephraim Mohale Stadium in Modimolle.
