Muraleni United Brothers paved their way to the SAB Safa Vhembe league when they hammered Muduluni Young Chiefs 8-0 in a Limpopo Dairy league match at the Muduluni grounds on Sunday.

Madambi Ramovha of the home team was the first player to go into the referee’s book. He tackled Phathutshedzo Livhalani the rough way in the eighth minute. Ronewa Muthambi of United opened the score, when he easily beat the keeper in the 13th minute.

Two minutes later, Dakalo Tangananalo received a pass from Khumbelo Rakhavha and sent the ball to Melton Nembidzane. His ground cutter hit the goal post and crossed the goal line.

Dakalo Tangananalo was on target three minutes later. Matome Makgopo dished a beautiful pass to Azwitamisi Mphephu, who gave the ball the final touch.

United enjoyed their 3-0 lead until the end of the first half. Tsumbedzo Mulaudzi scored his team’s fourth goal when he finished off a square ball from Melton Rakhavha. United went further ahead when Azwitamisi Mphephu unleashed a powerful volley after a scramble for the ball within the box in the 60th minute.

Azwitamisi Mphephu completed his hat trick in the 68th minute. Phathutshedzo Livhalani capitalised on a clearing error by Chiefs and caught their keeper, Madambi Ramovha, off guard.

The last goal of the day was scored by Dakalo Tangananalo.
