Muhuyu IX Experience were too strong for Thenzheni Liverpool when they beat them 4-2 in a Munyamela Electrical match at Muhuyu on Saturday.
The game started at a blistering pace, with the home side being superior as far as ball possession was concerned. Rolivhuwa Nevhutalu was trapped by the opponents' keeper, Aifheli Sikhumo, in the box in the 15th minute, forcing the referee to award a penalty to Liverpool. Rotondwa Managa opened the Liverpool account from the spot.
Experience changed their original pattern and started to initiate moves from behind. They did not reap anything from their effort, as it was not easy to find the way through the defence of their opponents. The home team equalised through Fhatuwani Rambani in the 26th minute.
Experience was awarded a place kick in the 38th minute. Walter Munzhedzi picked the ball from the place kick to score easily. Nduvho Ravhura then beat three defenders and dished a square pass to Pfano Ndivhudzannyi , who gave it the final touch. Experience were leading 3-2 at half time.
Early in the second half, Ipfi Ramalibana scored Liverpool’s second goal. He unleashed a powerful volley from the 25m area and the keeper could not save it. Ndivhuwo Nengovhela scored Experience’s fourth goal shortly before the final whistle.
Kaizer Nengovhela started writing stories for Limpopo Mirror in 2000. Prior to that he had a five year stint at Phala-Phala FM as sports presenter. In 2005 Kaizer received an award from the province's premier as Best Sports Presenter. The same year he was also nominated as Best Sports Reporter by the Makhado Municipality. Kaizer was awarded the Mathatha Tsedu award in 2014.
