Zamenkomste FC emerged as the champions of the Come Together tournament after beating Madodonga United 4-0 in the final match played at the Tshiozwi grounds on Sunday.

It was evident from the start that Zamenkomste were going to win the match, as United were outclassed in all departments. Aluwani Nedzamba opened the score in the seventh minute. A defender of United, Calvin Tshivhulana, was warned with a card for a continued argument with the referee, Mr Tshifhiwa Sadiki, late in the first half.

When the referee blew the half-time whistle, the score was still 1-0 in favour of Zamenkomste. They approached the last stanza with more fighting spirit. Aluwani Nedzamba increased the score when he beat the keeper with a marvellous shot. Gado Ndou forced his way through the defence of United and chipped the ball to Kgomotso Munyai, who headed home. Their midfielders took it upon themselves to distribute telling passes to the strikers.

The last and fourth goal of the day was scored by Phumudzo Ramantswana.
