GIYANI - The champions for the Inland Stream of the Premier First Division are not known yet, despite the fact that the teams are left with only two matches to wrap up their league activities for the current season.

The team that is at the top of the ladder is Dynamos FC. They are leading the pack with 59 points. Their closest rivals, Pietersburg City Pillars, are three points behind. Highlandspark Silver Stars, who at one stage were in second position, have dropped to the third spot on the latest league log. They have 55 points in hand.

Bloemfontein Celtic are down to the fourth spot with 52 points. Celtic are still to appear before the league's disciplinary committee, following the abandonment of their match against Mabopane Young Masters. The points for the match in question have been docked.

Their neighbours, Bloemfontein Young Tigers, are behind them with 46 points. Mamelodi Juventus are waiting for an official notification from the league to inform them about their relegation to the lower division. They will be joined by either Katlehong City or Witbank Black Aces on their way down.

The Coastal Stream of the Premier First Division is under the leadership of African Wanderers. African Wanderers need only two points to celebrate their promotion to the elite league. They have 49 points in their league account, four ahead of Avendale Athletico.
