The high-flying Benny’s Care Soccer Academy aims to bring the Sasfa Sanlam Kay Motsepe Cup back to Vhembe when they participate in the national finals at the King Zwelithini Stadium this week.

After ending third in the Milo U/13 championships a fortnight ago, the players of the U/19 team promised that they would do their utmost to come back with the silverware. Eighteen schools from the nine provinces will participate in the competition, with each province being represented by two schools.

Benny's won the provincial tournament and received R100 000 earlier this year. This week’s winners of the national championship  will receive R1 million, while the runners-up will get R750 000.

The coach of Benny's Care, Mr Justice Matloga, said they were going all out and they wouldn’t let Limpopo down."We have selected a very strong team,” Matloga said. According to him, it is important to reward the loyal community of Limpopo who supported the team for several years.

Matloga said that he would rely on Rendani Mudau, Marubini Manyane, Lesedi Papinga, Andani Nelamlili and Andrew Kabota to clinch the competition for them.
