The coach of Black Leopards, Mr Kostadin Papic, has dismissed the rumour that he is planning to relinquish his position in the team to take up an offer as the head coach of the Premier League side, Polokwane City. Realising that the rumour was spreading like wildfire, Papic was compelled to address the players on Monday afternoon, shortly after the training session. During the meeting, the Serbian mentor assured the players that he was still the team’s head coach, saying the rumour was being spread by people who wanted to destabilize the team. Leopards have managed to collect only two points from the three league matches they have played to date. They played to a goalless draw against Roses United in their opening match before losing 1-2 to African Warriors at the Seshego Stadium. They drew 2-2 with Baroka FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium last Saturday.
