Leopards and Spurs in league clash

Sport  Date: 27 September 2013

Black Leopards must win their match against Witbank Spurs tomorrow if they are serious about gaining promotion to the country’s elite league at the end of the season.

Just like their first league match against African Warriors, to whom they lost 1-2 two weeks ago, the match will be played at the Seshego Stadium.

The Thohoyandou outfit are still fresh from a 2-2 draw against the NFD newcomers, Baroka FC, with whom they shared the spoils at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium last Saturday. Lidoda Duvha have managed to collect only two points from the three matches they had played to date.

Santos are preparing for their match against Maluti FET College, with whom they will lock horns at the Charles Mopedi Stadium. Just Like Black Leopards, Maluti FET College are still to win a league match. Blackburn Rovers will travel to Nelspruit for their match against Sivutsa Stars. Thanda Royal Zulu are expected to register their first win this season when they host Vasco da Gama at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay. Thanda Royal Zulu gave away league points to the opponents in all three their first matches.

FC Cape Town will entertain Roses United at the NNK Stadium in Cape Town. Sunday will see Milano United battle against African Warriors at the Grassy Park Stadium. Although they will be playing in front of their home crowd, United FC will not find it easy to collect full points against Baroka FC, whom they will meet at the Moruleng Stadium.
