GIYANI – Most of the affiliates of the Premier First Division League will play their fourth-last league matches this weekend. The pride of the Lowveld area, Dynamos are still shining at the top of the Inland Stream of the league.
Although they only have four matches to wrap up their league activities, they are still not certain about their future.
The team that is causing them sleepless nights is Bloemfontein Celtic. The team from the Free State is two points behind Dynamos. A look at the remaining matches of the two teams shows that the road ahead of Dynamos is not as thorny as Celtic's.
Dynamos will be tackling Ledwaba Power Stars at the Giyani Stadium tomorrow. On the other hand Bloemfontein Celtic will be fighting for league points against Thembisa City Sharks at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa at the same time.
Apart from tomorrow's fixture, Dynamos still have to face Spartak Football Club (away), Witbank Black Aces (home) while their final hurdle will be against Alexandra United. Alexandra United are the only side that can give Dynamos a run for their money when taking into account the fact that they are fighting for survival.
Spartak and Witbank Black Aces have nothing to lose in their fixtures. Celtic still has to play against Dobsonville All Nations (home), Katlehong City (away) and Pietersburg Pillars besides their fixture tomorrow against Thembisa City Sharks. Pillars are one of the sides that can win the league title as the wild cards while Katlehong City are one of the relegation candidates who are fighting "tooth and nail" to avoid the chop.
