After registering their first victory of the season when they beat Vasco da Gama 4-1 in Cape Town last Saturday, Black Leopards are ready to continue from where they left off when they host Thanda Royal Zulu in their NFD League match at the Seshego Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
In an interview, Leopards’ head coach, Mr Kostadin Papic, stated that the victory marked the beginning of good things in their camp. He said that he always knew that it was just a matter of time before they started winning matches. He further indicated that his team created numerous scoring chances in their previous matches and fumbled at the goal finish, saying they had since worked on the problem and that his strikers were now razor sharp.
Thanda Royal Zulu are still in mourning after losing 0-1 to the newly promoted Maluti FET College FC last weekend.
Also tomorrow afternoon, Milano United will host Blackburn Rovers at the Grassy Park Stadium in Cape Town. Milano United rose to the occasion last Saturday when they held Santos to a goalless draw. Maluti FET College and Sivutsa Stars will meet at the Charles Mopedi Stadium.
The Cape Town derby between FC Cape Town and Santos will be staged at the NNK Rugby Stadium in Parow. Jomo Cosmos and Witbank Spurs will rub shoulders at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa.
Sunday will see Baroka travel to the Free State. They will try their luck against Roses United at the Kaizer Sebotlelo Stadium at Botshabelo. United FC will take on Vasco da Gama at the Maruleng Stadium in Rustenburg and Chippa United will host African Warriors at the Philipi Stadium in Cape Town in the only match that will be played this evening.
