THOHOYANDOU - Black Leopards will soon name their own beauty queen.
According to one of the organisers of the anticipated contest, Ms Busi Khumalo, the contest is open to girls whose ages range from 16 to 21 years. The application forms for the contest are available at the Shayandima offices for the club Tel 015 - 964 1684.
Those who stay in Louis Trichardt and the surrounding areas can obtain the forms at the Momentum Hair Profile in Louis Trichardt Tel 015 - 516 0009. The forms are also available at the Prestige hair Salon in Pietersburg Tel 082 470 0195.
Other places where the forms can be obtained include Giyani Kanana Bakery (072 425 2380), Messina Fast Quick Car Wash (082 213 7141), Flat No 505, Hamilton Gardens, corner of Prinsloo and Visaggie Street, Pretoria (082 9037 062).
Those who stay in Johannesburg and the nearby areas can get the forms from Diepkloof Soweto Highway Motors (083 2787 718).
The closing date for the submission of forms is May 3. According to Khumalo, the forms should be accompanied by R100 and two colour photographs, a full length and a half cut photo.
The elimination dates for the contest will be announced after the closing date for the registration. The members of the organising committee are Busi Khumalo, Yvonne Mudau, Mphodo Ramunenyiwa, Gayley Mabirimisa and Salome Ramabulana.
The contest will be staged at the Thohoyandou Town Hall on Saturday, June 29.
