Sport  Date: 06 December 2013

The only goal, which came later in the game, was good enough to earn Black Leopards three significant league points at the expense of United FC in their National First Division League match at the Moruleng Stadium in Rustenburg on Sunday.

Lidoda Duvha moved to the seventh spot on the log after several impressive results.

Milano United maintained their leadership on the log by beating Maluti FET College 4-2 at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. Milano United were leading 2-0 when the teams adjourned for half time. Their first two goals came via Timothy Mungoni and Jeffrey Sebona in the 19th and 28th minute respectively.

The students did not throw in the towel, despite all the odds. They came back strongly in the last half. It was in the 58th minute when they pulled one back through James Dlamini. They found the equaliser through Eric Moeng. The visitors relaxed after scoring the equaliser. The home side capitalised and scored two late goals via Johannes Mhlongo and Daniel Masuku.

African Warriors came back from a 1-2 half-time deficit and beat Blackburn Rovers 3-2 in their equally contested game at the Charles Mopedi Stadium in Phutaditshaba. Roses United dropped vital league points, despite the fact that they were playing in front of their home crowd. They lost to Vasco da Gama at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa.

Chippa United beat Witbank Spurs 2-0 at the Philipi Stadium in Cape Town. Chippa made their intentions clear from the onset. Their opening goal came three minutes into the game. George Seopa found the net after a mix-up within the box. Cedrick Mothwa scored the second in the dying minutes.

Jomo Cosmos beat Thanda Royal Zulu 2-0 at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa on Sunday. Baroka FC deposited full points into their league account. They beat Santos FC 2-1 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Sivutsa Stars played to a goalless draw with  FC Cape Town in Nelspruit.
