After losing their first three league matches, Dynamos finally registered their first victory last weekend. The former pride of Giyani rose to the occasion and unexpectedly beat Lephalale Young Killers 4-2 in their Safa Second Division League match at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen on Saturday.

In the other match that was played at the same venue later that afternoon, Bellevue Village Winners Park shared the spoils with Blue Rocks. They scored one goal apiece. Bellevue Winners Park are now lying in the third spot, while Blue Rocks moved to the fourth position on the log. They are tied with seven points.

Joe’s Express donated points to Ray Pillars at the Seshego Stadium on Sunday. Ray Pillars scored two easy goals in the first half before the Vhembe side could make their presence felt. Joe’s Express’s solitary goal came late in the game when Dakalo Ratshitanga scored from the place kick to bring the full time score to 2-1.

Magezi FC maintained their lead by beating The Dolphins FC 2-0 at the Peter Mokaba Athletics Stadium. The Dolphins missed two clear-cut chances within the first 15 minutes of the game. At that stage, Magezi were still trying to acclimatize to the tempo of the game.

Great North FC were far too good for Winners Park, whom they beat 3-1 at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane. Winners Park were awarded a penalty 10 minutes into the game. Thomas Mlambo scored from the white spot. What followed thereafter was one way traffic, with Winners Park at the receiving end.

Mosesetjane All Stars had a good weekend as well. They collected the maximum points by beating Giyani Hotspurs 2-1 at the Mahwelereng Stadium. Rospa United lost 1-3 to Mighty FC at the Makwarela Stadium.
