Leopards on leave, but fight continues

THOHOYANDOU – After their 2-1 victory over Ajax Cape Town last Sunday, Black Leopards will be watching others fighting for league points this weekend. The pride of the northern part of the Limpopo Province will be on leave for a fortnight.

Their next match will be against Lamontville Golden Arrows at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban next Saturday. Two league matches will be played on Sunday. Thembisa Classic, who now need miracle to escape the relegation axe, will face Ria Stars.

They will lock horns at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa. Ria Stars are still mourning their 1-2 defeat at the hands of Sanlam Santos in their tough game that was played at Seshego Stadium last weekend. The title chasers, Supersport United and Sundowns Football Club, will meet at the Caledonian Stadium in Pretoria.

This will be the match of the week when considering the fact that both sides are fighting for the league championship. The match will be screened live on television starting at 15:30.

One match will be played next Tuesday, March 26. It will be between Manning Rangers and Lamontville Golden Arrows, at the Chatsworth Stadium starting at 20:00. Three matches will be played on Wednesday, March 27. The three fixtures are Moroka Swallows vs Kaizer Chiefs, Sanlam Santos vs Wits University and Hellenic vs Mamelodi Sundowns.
