Black Leopards have reason to believe that they will collect the maximum points at the expense of Blackburn Rovers when they meet in their NFD encounter at the Sugar Ray Zulu Stadium in East London tomorrow. Beating Blackburn Rovers will mean that Black Leopards will remain one of the closest contenders for the league title.
Leopards’ bulldozer striker, Rendani Ndou, will be available for selection tomorrow. He was out of action in the previous two matches, after seeing red in their game against Witbank Spurs at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Witbank last Wednesday. Ndou’s return will probably mean that Maboke Matlakala, who was his place holder during his absence, will be on the bench.
The defenders of Lidoda Duvha, Marks Munyai and Dunga Munganga, will ensure that their danger area is always clean. It would be a grave mistake for Leopards to underestimate Rovers. They will want to rectify their mistakes after last weekend’s defeat against Maluti FET College. Vasco da Gama will host the Maluti students at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town.
Baroka FC will meet FC Cape Town at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Baroka are sharpened to kill after winning their last two matches. Thanda Royal Zulu and Sivutsa Stars will test each other’s strength at the Umhlathuze Stadium in Richards Bay on Sunday. Witbank Spurs will entertain Milano United at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Witbank.
Jomo Cosmos will travel to the Charles Mopedi Stadium in the Free State, where they will play against African Warriors. Santos will host United FC at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town this evening.
In the only two matches that will be played next Wednesday (19 February), Milano United will play against United while Chippa United will host Santos at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
