High-flying Black Leopards to meet the struggling Royal Zulu

Sport  Date: 07 March 2014

After beating Vasco Da Gama 2-0 in their National First Division League match played at the Giyani Stadium last Saturday, Black Leopards will travel to Kwazulu Natal tomorrow afternoon. They will test their strength against Thanda Royal Zulu at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay.

The fact that Thanda Royal Zulu are fighting for survival is reason enough for the Thohoyandou outfit to expect the toughest match ever. Thanda Royal Zulu have realized that time is fast running out for them, and they have been winning matches home and away in the past weeks, despite the fact that they are still languishing at the bottom of the log. Black Leopards will pin their hopes on Rendani Ndou and David Zulu for goals, while Marks Munyai and the team’s captain, Dunga Munganga, are expected to keep their danger area clean from the onset to the bitter end.

Vasco Da Gama will host United FC at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town. Baroka are expected to make Roses United pay for the 0-2 defeat which they suffered at the hands of Jomo Cosmos at the Makhulong Stadium last Saturday evening. They will host them at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Maluti FET College will travel all the way to Mpumalanga, where they will lock horns with Sivutsa Stars at the Kabokweni Stadium in Nelspruit. Blackburn Rovers will play in front of their home crowd. They will entertain Milano United FC at the Sugar Ray Zulu Stadium in Durban.

Sunday will see Witbank Spurs test their strength against Jomo Cosmos at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Witbank. The pace setters, Chippa United, will have a date with African Warriors at the Charles Mopedi Stadium in Puthaditshaba. The Cape Town derby between Santos and FC Cape Town will be staged at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town this evening, starting at 19:00. African Warriors will play against Thanda Royal Zulu at the Charles Mopedi Stadium in the only match that will be played next Wednesday, March 12.
