Another tricky hurdle faces Express

Sport  Date: 16 May 2014

After beating Giyani Hotspurs 3-1 last Sunday, Joe Express are gearing up for another tough Safa Second Division League. They will host The Dolphins at the same venue tomorrow afternoon (Saturday).

While Express have only pride at stake, it will be a matter of life and death for The Dolphins. They are contenders for the league championship, while Express are lying in the middle of the log. Express will pin their hopes on the team’s captain, Thembisani Nevhulamba, and Edwin “Cafu” Ramphabana for goals, while Dakalo Ratshitanga and Lucas Mashau will make sure that their danger area is always clean.

Bellevue Winners Park and Giyani Hotspurs will meet at the Burgersdorp artificial turf stadium. Bellevue must win the match at all costs in order to remain a contestant for the league title.

Basel FC will host Magezi FC at the Polokwane Noordelike Rugby Stadium, while Blue Rocks are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their match against Winners Park at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen.

Dynamos will lock horns with Mosesetjane All Stars at the Nwamitwa grounds. Dynamos are tough to beat at home and All Stars will be lucky if they manage to hold them to a draw.

Rospa United will undertake a journey to Modimolle, where they will play against Modimolle Aces at the Ephraim Mohale Stadium on Sunday. Lephalale Young Killers will host Mighty FC at the Mogol Stadium in Lephalale, while Great North will be the host in their match against Phungo All Stars at the Seshego Stadium.
