Neluvhalani vs Mboyane for provincial title

The provincial featherweight title is at stake during tomorrow (Saturday) evening’s boxing bonanza in the Thohoyandou Town Hall. Pfariso Neluvhalani and Klaas Mboyane’s fight is scheduled over ten rounds.

The main supporting bout will be a provincial featherweight fight between Sydney Maluleke and Prince Ndlovu. Just like the main bout, this one too is scheduled over ten rounds. A fight that is expected to keep the fans on the edge of their seats will be a provincial heavyweight bout over eight rounds between Mahomed Ally and Ernest Mulaudzi.

Hamisi Guluka (lightweight) from Johannesburg will test his strength against a local opponent, whose name was still to be confirmed at the time of going to press. Another lightweight bout will be between two local boxers, Thizwilondi Nempandoni and Rofhiwa Nemushungwa.

Moloko Phela from Lebowakgomo will exchange blows with Tswarelo Mothwene from Johannesburg in their junior lightweight bout over four rounds. Tshifhiwa Munyai and Moses Maanda will meet in a lightweight bout over four rounds.

The event is organized by Tshiawelo Sports and Cultural Development. According to the matchmaker, Mr Ephraim Simba, the first bout is scheduled to start at 18:30. Simba appealed to the people to be punctual. The entrance fee is will be R100 for adults and R50 for juveniles.
