SIBASA - Twelve teams affiliated to the Sibasa District Football Association will appear before the Association's disciplinary committee for several cases of misconduct.
According to a spokesperson for the league, the cases entail violent behaviour, failure to honour official matches, fielding of unregistered players and assaults on match officials at a hearing scheduled for the Sidfa office tomorrow.
According to the Sidfa Administrative Officer, David Ndou, Newli Stone Breakers failed to honour their league match against Begwa United Brothers. Makonde Manchester United have been summoned to appear before the DC to answer to a charge of causing a direct abandonment of their league match against Buluni Happy Boys. Tshiombo XI Securitas did not turn up for the match against Tswera Hot Chillies and were charged with failure to honour the game.
Mbahe United Brothers are accused for failing to provide adequate security for the referee, Mr Mbuyiseni Mukwevho in an official match. Mbuyuni FC failed to travel to Makwarani for their match against Frelimo Boys and they have been charged with failure to honour a match.
Tswera Hot Chillies abandoned their match against Makonde Home Defenders, Tshidzini Happy Fighters are in trouble following allegations that they had assaulted Humbulani Ratshibvumo during their league match. They have also been charged of failing to provide adequate security for the referee.
Mr Pfuluwani Mphanama, a referee is to explain to the DC how Mapholi Stone Breakers assaulted him, Mapholi Stone Breakers allegedly fielded an unproperly registered player against Ngwenani Manchester United.
Tshiombo XI Securitas is to appear before the disciplinary committee to answer to a charge for fielding what Makwarani Frelimo Boys refer to as a defaulter.
Muhuyu XI Experience have been charged for failing to play their official game against Ngudza United Brothers and Vondwe United Brothers protested against Mutale Vikings whom they said they fielded a player who was not properly registered with the league.
Ndou appealed to the accused to be punctual for their cases and to delegate the chairman and the secretary to the hearing.
