THOHOYANDOU – Last weekend was an ugly one for Mapate Silver Stars, who are lately known as Highlandspark Silver Stars. They donated the league points to Dobsonville All Nations following their 1-3 defeat in their well-contested match.

Sporting Football Club lost 1-2 to Pietersburg Pillars. The match was played at the Newlands Stadium. Bloemfontein Celtic shared the glory with Katlehong City. The scoreboard was 0-0.

Dynamos continued to pave their way up when they beat Witbank Aces 2-1. Aces could not make the grade despite the fact that the game was played in their own back yard. The other match which could not produce results was between Alexandra United and Bloemfontein Young Tigers.

Mamelodi Juventus scored three beautiful goals and conceded only one in their match against Welkom Stars. Ledwaba Power Stars and Thembisa City Sharks played to a 1-1 draw. Spartak beat Mabopane Young Masters 3-1 at the Rand Stadium.

The results for the Coastal Stream are Park United 3 Premier United 0, William Pescod 4 Royal Tigers 1, Rainbow Stars 3 PE Technikon 1, Avendale Athletico 1 Newtons 0, Mother City 0 FC Fortune 3. The match between Maritzburg City and Basotho Tigers was postponed to a later date.
