Gogobole Bucs won the Together Tournament at Gogobole on Sunday, when they beat Mates 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out.

In a match that was characterised by squandered opportunities, both teams missed several opportunities. Early in the game, both teams displayed aggressive, illegal tackling, leading to the referee's flashing three  yellow cards in quick succession.

Bucs missed two clear chances in the last stanza. Try Sebola made an unforgettable blunder when he shot wide from close range after receiving a neat pass from Fhulufhelo Ramabulana in the 64th minute. As if that was not enough to stir up the fans, Sebola caused another upset three minutes thereafter. Instead of relaxing on the ball and trying other possible ways, he chose to release aimlessly from outside the box, much to the disappointment of the team’s supporters.
