It remains to be seen whether Black Leopards will manage to bounce back and collect maximum points at the expense of Highlandspark when they meet in their National First Division League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Leopards are still in shock after losing two league matches in a row. They lost 0-1 to Royal Eagles in Durban two weeks ago before suffering a 0-3 drubbing at the hands of Thanda Royal Zulu at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Wednesday afternoon.
On the other hand, the mood is high in the Highlandspark camp after registering their second win of the season last Wednesday when they beat Cape Town All Stars 2-0.
Lidoda Duvha must win the match at all cost in order to keep their title hopes alive. They will pin their hopes on Bongani Manana, Leonard Ntshangase and Ntokozo Mbhele for goals, while their Congolese defender, Jean Mungana, is likely to be in the starting 11 tomorrow. Munganga watched last Wednesday’s match from the grandstand as he was serving a suspension after accumulating four yellow cards in previous matches.
The pace setters, Lamontville Golden Arrows, will test their strength against Maluti FET College at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban. Witbank Spurs will host Santos at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Witbank and African Warriors will play against Royal Eagles in Phutaditshaba.
In the only two matches that will be played on Sunday, Jomo Cosmos will meet Vasco da Gama at the Vaal University of Technology Stadium. Thanda Royal Zulu will fly to Cape Town, where they will meet FC Cape Town at the NNK Rugby Stadium.
Baroka will travel to Pretoria, where they will play against Garankuwa United at the Pilditch Stadium this evening. Milano United will take on Cape Town All Stars at the Phillipi Stadium in Cape Town.
