MAKHADO (LOUIS TRICHARDT) – An exciting new local bowls competition, the “Zoutnet Night Series” starts this weekend when the draw for the competition will be held at the club on Friday evening.

This competition will comprise 12 teams playing in two pools. The matches will take place on Friday evenings from 18:00 until 21:00 and the competition promises to be a lot of fun. The teams consist of four players, two of whom are club players and two players who are newcomers to the sport. Aside from the club competitions, social play takes place on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, as well as on Friday evenings. Also held on Friday evenings are the fortnightly Bingo evenings. This coming Friday, the bingo jackpot of R1 000 is still up for grabs and the jackpot numbers have now progressed to 39. This week, one lucky winner will also win a one night bed-and-breakfast package for two people from Tusk Venda Casino and Hotel.
