The two top teams in the NFD, Lamontville Golden Arrows and Thanda Royal Zulu, dropped league points last weekend.

Lamontville Golden Arrows drew 1-1 with Witbank Spurs, while Royal Zulu were unexpectedly doomed 1-3 by Highlandspark in Thembisa.

Cape Town All Stars lost 1-2 to Santos and FC Cape Town beat Vasco da Gama 2-0. Baroka FC beat African Warriors 1-0. The Maluti FET College beat Milano United 1-0.

Back home, Black Leopards continued to pave their way up by beating Royal Eagles 2-1 at the Thohoyandou Stadium (See a full match report elsewhere).

Jomo Cosmos moved a step up after beating Garankuwa United 3-1 at the Vaal University Stadium in the only match that was played on Sunday.
