Registration for the annual The Best FJR Women’s Tournament will remain open until Saturday, 25 July.

According to the sponsor and organiser of the tournament, Mr Fhatuwani Rananga, this year’s tournament will be staged together with a marathon. The tournament will be held at the Muwodi Sunrise FC grounds on Sunday, 9 August.

He added that the registration for the tournament is R350 per team, while people who wish to take part in the marathon should pay a fee of R50 per person. Rananga further stated that the organizers will hold a meeting at the Muswodi Sunrise grounds on the last day of registration, 25 July.

According to him, several issues, including the distribution of prizes and the kick-off date, will be discussed. Although other logistics will be finalized during the meeting, the champions will receive, among other things, a floating trophy, soccer kit and gold medals. Only the semifinal and final matches will be played on the date for the finals.
