THOHOYANDOU – The activities for the 2004/5 Castle Premiership League will come to an end next weekend. As one of the ways to avoid possible corrupt activities, the league has decided that all matches involving clubs that are on the verge of relegation should be played on the same day and at the same time.

Five matches will be played next Saturday, May 21, while three will be staged the following day. According to the league’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Andrew Dipela, they want to ensure that no corrupt activities take place in the last and deciding matches.

Dynamos will play their final match in their own backyard, Giyani Stadium. They will host Lamontville Golden Arrows on Saturday. The other fixtures for Saturday will be between Moroka Swallows and Black Leopards at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg. Orlando Pirates will host Bush Bucks at the FNB Stadium. Silver Stars will meet Wits University at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, while Supersport United will take on Santos at the Securicor Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.

Sunday will see Ajax Cape Town fighting for league points with Mamelodi Sundowns at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town. Boemfontein Celtic will have a date with the title chasers, Kaizer Chiefs at Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein.

Manning Rangers, who need a miracle to avoid relegation, will lock horns with Jomo Cosmos at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban.
