TNN’s best players receive rewards

The players of Tshakhuma Na Ndilani (TNN), one of the affiliates of the MMK Administrators League, held their awards ceremony at the hall of the Levubu Laerskool a fortnight ago,

When addressing the guests, the chairman of Black Leopards, Mr David Thidiela, praised the management of TNN for their dedication, saying that running an amateur team had more challenges than a professional team. He appealed to the young players to stay away from sexual activities, drugs and alcohol and emphasized that they must work hard in the classroom and on the sports field.

Fhatuwani Mudau, who scored 26 goals during the past season, received the scorer of the year award and received R500, a trophy and soccer boots. The goal of the season award went to Gift Nemutandani, who received R400, a trophy and soccer boots. The players’ player of the season, Sedzazwau Mushoma, received R600, a trophy and soccer boots.

The most disciplined player, Thabiso Lekgau, received R800, a trophy and soccer boots. Tshifhango Muuladzi, the goalkeeper of the season, received R500, a trophy and soccer boots. Rofhiwa “Danger” Netshiungani took home the most experienced player award. Netshiungani played for several semi-professional, teams including the now-defunct Rospa United, before joining TNN.

The team’s captain, Nndwamato “Becham” Miriri, was presented with the player of the season award. He received R900, a trophy and soccer boots.

During the ceremony, the president of the Safa Vhembe Regional League, Mr George Kubayi, stated that his association was going to root out all corrupt activities in his association next season.
