After fighting for league points against African Warriors at the Charles Mopedi Stadium in Phuthaditshaba two weeks ago, Black Leopards will play another league match away from home this weekend. They will undertake a journey to the Eastern Cape, where they will meet the newly promoted Mthatha Bucks at the Mthatha Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Bucks are still to win a league match after gaining promotion to the NFD. They shared the spoils with Vasco da Gama (1-1) in Cape Town in their opening match. Their second match was against Milano United, to whom they lost 0-2 at home.

The Thohoyandou outfit collected maximum points in their opening match when they beat Milano 2-0. They played to a goalless draw with African Warriors in their second fixture. It remains to be seen whether the Bucks’ defenders, John Kekana and Lawrence Skhosana, will be able to stop the Leopards’ fast forwards, Thembisani Nevhulamba and Ruggert Nyundu.

The other fixtures in the NFD are Moroka Swallows vs Highlandspark, Baroka vs Vasco da Gama, FC Cape Town vs Milano United, Amazulu vs Royal Eagles, Santos vs Thanda Royal Zulu, Cape Town All Stars vs African Warriors and Mbombela United vs Witbank Spurs.
