Mira Black Pull destroy Gogobole 3-1

Mira Black Pull beat Gogobole Bucs 3-1 in their clash in the Bokus tournament at Gogobole on Sunday.

Bucs created several promising moves from behind in the opening minutes, but their strikers let them down by shooting aimlessly. Their overlapping midfielder, Lutendo Mabasa, had his chance in the 10th minute. He received a good pass from Khongelani Baloyi but shot wide from just outside the box.

The visitors from Madodonga knocked on Bucs' door in the 19th minute. Rendani Madula tried his luck from the edge of the box. His volley hit the crossbar and bounced out of the field of play for a goal kick. That did not kill their fighting spirit as they continued to play like a united team. Black Pull were rewarded with a goal in the 24th minute. Phathutshedzo Nthangeni was on target, following a mix-up within the box.

Bucs lost cohesion in the middle of the park after the goal. They were severely punished and Black Pull made it 2-0 before the half-time whistle. Their second goal came via Molatelo Ndou, whose close-range ground cutter was too hot for the Bucs keeper to handle.

Things turned against Black Pull five minutes into the last half. Their right back, Hector Nthulane, was given a yellow card for rough play, following a second bookable offence. That did not stop Black Pull from scoring their third goal.  Masilo Mothama sent the keeper the wrong way, after beating the offside trap in the 56th minute.

Mafanedza Sadiki scored for Bucs late in the game.
