Black Leopards and Mbombela United will face each other at the Thohoyandou Stadium in a National First Division League match.
A quick glance at Leopards’ track record shows that United will be lucky if they manage to hold Lidoda Duvha to a draw. United have won only two of the six league matches they have played to date. They lost two and shared the spoils on two occasions. On the other hand, the Thohoyandou outfit are sharpened to kill of late. They collected four points in their last two matches, beating FC Cape Town at home and sharing the glory with Baroka FC away from home.
Leopards will be minus their marksman, Thabo Mashiane, when they face Mbombela United tomorrow. Mashiane saw red in their game against FC Cape Town at the Thohoyandou Stadium three weeks ago.
The strikers of United will not find it easy to penetrate the defence of Leopards, which will be marshalled by Jonathan King, Thivhavhudzi Ndou and Dunga Munganga. Leopards’ strikers, Thembisani Nevhulamba, Ruggert Nyundu and Leonard Ntshangase, will keep the United defence running for cover.
Moroka Swallows will host Baroka at the Dobsonville Stadium.Baroka are the only side who have not yet tasted the pain of losing a league match this season. They are currently leading the league. Amazulu will fly to Cape Town, where they will lock horns with FC Cape Town. In the KZN derby, Thanda Royal Zulu and Royal Eagles will meet at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban.
Highlandspark will visit Cape Town All Stars at the Athlone Stadium, while Mthatha Bucks will face Witbank Spurs at the Mthatha Stadium in the Eastern Cape.
On Sunday, African Warriors will face Vasco da Gama and Milano United will host Santos.
