The former coach of Black Leopards, Mr Kostadin Papic, is currently a jobless man. His one-year relationship with the Absa Premier League side, Polokwane City, came to an end last week.
The Serbian national joined City from Chippa United early last season. His departure from Polokwane comes after a string of poor results this season. Polokwane City are lying in the 12th position, with five points accumulated from six matches. Papic’s relationship with City turned sour after his side lost 1-2 to Supersport United in their Telkom KO Competition match three weeks ago.
The club released an official statement regarding Papic’s resignation last Thursday. Papic guided several local Absa Premiership League teams before joining Black Leopards two seasons ago. He stayed for one season with the Thohoyandou outfit.
When asked about his future plans, Papic said that he was still trying to come to terms with his current situation. He dismissed the rumour that he was on his way back to Black Leopards, saying he had not received an offer from any club so far.
