It is expected that soccer lovers in the Giyani area will stream to the Giyani Stadium on Sunday afternoon, for the much-awaited ABC Motsepe League match between Bilika All Stars and Giyani Hotspurs.
It remains to be seen whether Bilika All Stars will make Hotspurs pay for the 0-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of Joe Maweja at the Tshifulanani Stadium last Saturday. Although Bilika are still in shock, it will not be easy for them to beat Hotspurs. Spurs are in winning mode after beating Mighty FC 2-0 at home last weekend.
Mighty FC and The Dolphins will clash at the Eldorado Stadium in Polokwane. It is expected that The Dolphins will easily win the match, if Mighty’s under-par performances in their previous matches are anything to go by.
Joe Maweja will travel to Giyani tomorrow. They will meet Gawula Classic at the Giyani Stadium. The strikers for Gawula will not find it easy to penetrate the defence of Maweja, marshalled by Dakalo Ratshitanga, Mashudu Makhari and Aubrey Ndou. The trio made it possible for their team to keep a clean slate against Bilika All Stars last Saturday.
Great North FC will fight for league points against Mosesetjane All Stars at the Mahwelereng Stadium in Mokopane. Mosesetjane must start collecting league points if they are serious about escaping relegation at the end of the season. They lost four of the five matches they have played to date and drew one.
Magezi will have a date with A1 Terrors at the Bela Bela Stadium. Bellevue Winners Park will host Polokwane Academy at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen. Winners Park lost 0-1 to Lephalale Young Killers last weekend.
Nkowankowa Barcelona will host Lephalale Young Killers at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen. Polokwane United will play against Boyne Young Tigers at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
