The battle to be in the play-offs for the teams participating in the Safa Vhembe MMK Administrators League continues this weekend.
The two tops in Stream A for the past months has always been Dididi Manguvhewa FC and Matsika Shooting Stars and they are still at the top of the stream. They have 29 and 26 points respectively. It will be a difficult weekend for Vyeboom FC and Matsakali Sky Rangers as they are still at the bottom of the stream and will strive to collect maximum points.
Tshifudi XΙ Experience are under severe pressure, imposed by Madritas FC in Stream B. XΙ Experience are in first postion with 40 points from 18 games and Madritas FC in second position with 39 points from 17 games. Makonde FC and Tshidimbini Brave Lion are still languishing at the bottom of the stream.
In Stream C, United Artists and The Dolphins are still leading with 42 and 37 points respectively. The poor season for Ngwenani Manchester United and Mphego Real Rovers continues. They are still rocking down at the bottom of the stream.
Two Tshakhuma teams are still dominating Stream D. Tshakhuma Na Ndilani are in first position with 44 points, and Tshakhuma RO United in second position with 41 points. The two inconsistent teams, Phungo All Stars and Duthuni Happy Boys, are still down at the bottom of the stream.
Makhitha Iya Runga overtook Zamenkoste FC for the top position in Stream E. They have 42 and 41 points respectively. The bad run of form for Benny's Care Academy continues. The boys are occupying the last position, just below Tshiozwi Dynamos.
The run-away leaders, Wayeni Sea Robbers, are still ruling stream F with 42 points, and Tshiphuseni All Stars are in second position with 32 points. The four bottom teams are only separated by 3 points, with Mukondeni Ratanang in 12th position and Kurhuleni Happy Fighters in 15th position.
Tshivhiludulu Hungry Lions lead stream G with 43 points and Mauluma Black Mambas are in second position, 10 points behind them. Matsa Nothern Stars and Tshiendeulu New Castle still languish at the bottom with 10 and 6 points respectively.
In Stream H, the consistent team is Musina United, who are still ruling with 32 points from 12 games and Igwe FC are in second position with 26 points from 14 games. Matswale FC and Happy People are at the bottom of the stream with 7 and 6 points respectively.
Stream I's leader, Rambuda Young Fighters, are way ahead with 43 points, 10 ahead of Ficus FC. At the bottom of the stream there is a 4-point difference from position 13, occupied by Thengwe Fly Peace, to 16th position, occupied by Muhuyu Copper Stars.
The 22-year-old Mbulaheni (Gary) Ridovhona has been passionate about journalism to the extent that he would buy himself a copy of weekly Univen students' newsletter, Our Voice. After reading, he would write stories about his rural village, Mamvuka, and submit them to the very newsletter for publication. His deep-rooted love for words and writing saw him register for a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies at the University of Venda, and joined the Limpopo Mirror team in February 2016 as a journalism intern.
