Tshifulanani Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity tomorrow afternoon for the ABC Motsepe League match between Joe Maweja and Polokwane Academy.
It remains to be seen whether Polokwane Academy will be able to rise to the occasion and put a stop to the skyrocketing, Maweja.
Maweja are still fresh from a 4-1 victory over Lephalale Young Killers. A win for Maweja shall enhance their chances of booking a place in the promotional play-offs at the end of the season. Maweja will be welcoming their defender, Khongotela Mahlaule, back to the team tomorrow. Mahlaule watched his side beat Lephalale Young Killers 4-1 from the grandstand last Saturday after seeing red in their game against Boyne Young Tigers three weeks ago.
Should he be given a chance tomorrow, Mahlaule, together with Dakalo Ratshitanga and Mashudu Makhari, will make things difficult for the opponents at the far back. Maweja will pin their hopes on Takalani Ramagalela and Zwivhuya Tshisaphungo for goals.
The title chasers, Dolphins FC, will host A1 Terrors at the Eldorado Park Stadium in Polokwane. Terrors must win the match to move out of the relegations zone.
Mosesetjane All Stars will host Bellevue Winners Park in Mokopane. Although they will be playing at home, it will not be easy for All Stars to collect the maximum points, when taking into account the fact that Winners Park are good travelers. Gawula Classic will host Nkowankowa Barcelona in their Mopani derby at the Giyani Stadium. After the encounter, Bilika All Stars will meet Polokwane United at the same field.
Mighty FC are gearing up for their home match against Boyne Young Tigers at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. Giyani Hotspurs will have a date with Lephalale Young Killers at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday, while the pace setters, Magezi FC, will travel to Seshego Stadium where they will rub shoulders with Great North FC.
