A multi-million rand golf course and spa development is to commence at the Albasini Dam early next year.

At the heart of the Black Hawk estate, an 18-hole championship golf course is to be established on the southern bank of the Albasini Dam on a 316 acres game farm. Only 160 residential stands are available in Black Hawk’s residential plan, which has been designed by leading urban architects to capture the rural essence and panoramic views.

The properties are offered on a freehold title basis.

The overall architectural design is based on traditional lodge-type living with broad verandas overlooking expanses of the golf course. Colours and designs are natural, contemporary yet organic, to fit individual needs.

According to Mr George Johnston, managing director of the developers Summit Golf Pty Ltd, the phased development will start towards February or March next year with the establishment of the golf course, which will be followed by the residential development.

The architects of the development is Paradise Design Studios, with Safari Technologies the designers. Bay Breeze Properties are the estate agents in charge of the marketing of the project. Summit sponsored a golf day at the local Soutpansberg Gholf Club last Friday, to introduce Black Hawk Golf and Spa to possible local investors.
