Young soccer stars head to big teams for trials

The Sinthumule and Kutama based organisation, Mamu Community Development, is still busy with its endeavours to unearth fresh sport talent and secure a platform for talent exposure for them in Gauteng.
For the June and July season, Mamu is sending at least eight boys to three different teams. In the U/15 and U/13 groups the players are Vule Sinthumule, Mutshidzi Raphebele, Tshilidzi Khuswana, Rolivhuwa Maraga, Mutheiwana Ramadi, Surprise Rasiluma and Junior Musekwa. They will join Jomo Cosmos for the team’s development trials on 5-12 July. They are all from Mabaleng Development Team, where Mr Hangwani Mulaudzi is their proud coach.
Luvhengo Maluma is destined for Ajax Cape Town and the trials are scheduled for 3-7 July. Lebogang Mphasha went for trials with Wits University development (3-7 July). He currently plays under Tshiozwi Dynamos, a team contesting in the SAB Castle regional league.
The general secretary for Mamu Community Development, Mr Jafter Mamugudubi, said that they would continue to do good work for the benefit of youths in the area. “We find pride in developing our young boys for a good future,” he said.
