Teams ready for James Rasimphi finals

 

The semifinal and final of the James Rasimphi Summer Games Tournament will be played at the Masia Ha-Vhangani grounds on Saturday and Sunday.

The champions will receive R8 000, a floating trophy, gold medals and soccer kit. A cheque of R3 500, soccer kit and silver medals are awaiting the team that will obtain the second position.

The third-placed team will be presented with R2 000 and soccer kit and the team ending in fourth position will get R1 000 and a soccer kit.

The semifinal fixtures are Kurhuleni Happy Fighters vs Mashamba Soccer Academy at 13:00.The following match will be between Mpheni Home Defenders and Phadinwe FC at 15:00.

When asked about their level of readiness for the playoffs, the spokesperson of Kurhuleni Happy Fighters, Mr Hlamulo Lebese, said they were ready for whatever heat they might come across in the play-offs. Lebese further said that all his players were razor sharp.

Mr Vhutshilo Phuravhathu of Mpheni Home Defenders said that they had put aside some attractive incentives for the players in case they managed to win the tournament. He stated that the team had been training hard for the past weeks.

According to the manager of the Mashamba Soccer Academy, Ms Mercy Rambau, everything was going well with their preparations and they continued to train as usual after their last quarter-final matches three weeks ago.

Mr Godfrey Tshilowa of Phadinwe FC said that his players were ready for any team. According to him, his team will be the new champions.
