While the other three Vhembe based ABC Motsepe League sides, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Mikhado and Madridtas FC, will play their league matches away from home this weekend, the Tshifulanani Stadium will be the best place to be tomorrow afternoon.

That is where Joe Maweja will host Great North FC in what the soccer fanatics described as the war between the Biblical David and Goliath.

Although they will be playing in front of their home crowd, Maweja will be lucky if by chance they manage to hold Great North to a draw. Maweja are fighting for survival at the bottom of the log, while the visitors from Polokwane are one of the hot contenders for the league title.

Maweja have managed to win only one of the nine matches they have played to date. The Great North defenders, Ronny Bopape, James Mayekiso and George Maake will have a tough task to perform against the strikers of Maweja, Mashudu Makhari, Unarine Ralukake and Takalani Mashila.

After overwhelming the pace setters, Ndengeza FC, 3-1 at the Tshifudi Stadium last Saturday, Madridtas will be away to Magezi FC at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC will travel to Sekhukhune where they will lock horns with Ditlou FC at the Jane Furse Stadium. Tshakhuma must collect maximum points tomorrow ifthey are serious about escaping the relegation axe at the end of the season. They are lying on the 3rd position from the bottom of the log.

The newcomers, Baroka FC, will host Mikhado FC at the Ngoana Mahube Stadium in Polokwane. Ndengeza FC will host Polokwane Academy at the Giyani Stadium. The other fixtures are: Mighty FC vs Giyani Hotspurs, Molemole Academy vs Polokwane United and Boyne Tigers vs The Dolphins.
