The MMK Administrators League match between Shayandima Dynamos and Tshivhazwaulu Peace Makers, which was supposed to have been played at the Shayandima grounds on Sunday, did not take place.

Heavy showers started falling in the area shortly before kickoff time.

In a short space of time, the pitch was waterlogged. After inspecting the pitch, the referee, Mr Norman Tshivhuya, and his assistants, Lloyd Mafuna and Khathutshelo Ratshitanga, called the teams’ captains and told them that the pitch was not playable. The league was still to decide on a new date for the match at the time of our going to press.

In the other matches that were played over the past weekend, Vyeboom Marikana beat Tshivhuyuni Two for Joy 3-1 at the Vyeboom grounds. Although it was an away match for them, Majosi Blazing Ambers managed to collect the maximum points at the expense of Tshinavha FC, whom they beat 2-1. Mukondeni Shooting Stars lost 0-1 to Bofulamato United.

Gwamasenga United Brothers could not absorb the pressure from Tshakhuma RO Na Ndilani and lost 1-3 at the Tshakhuma Malaria grounds. Mutandani Pull Together drew 1-1 with Shayandima Disco Five.

Mulodi Young Santos were the hardest hit. They were brutally walloped 1-6 by Makuya Try Again at the Mulodi grounds.
