Following his departure from the ABC Motsepe League side, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, last month, Mr Justice Mutileni has joined another ABC Motsepe club, The Dolphins FC, as assistant coach.
According to Mutileni, his appointment came into effect last Tuesday after weeks of negotiations with the management of the team.
In an interview with Limpopo Mirror, Mutileni revealed that his departure from Tshakhuma was influenced by the fact that the club had sold their ABC Motsepe franchise to Musina United. He will be assisting Mr Joel Mongalo at the Dolphins FC. Mutileni joins The Dolphins at a time when the Bochum side is shining on top of the log.
With six matches remaining before the activities for the current season come to an end, the Dolphins are almost sure of a place in the promotional playoffs. They only need six points in their remaining matches to secure a place in the playoffs.
Mutileni was the head coach of Madridtas FC before joining Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
Mutileni is not a new name in the history of local football. He was the head coach of Maindis Ladies FC for two seasons before joining the Vodacom League side, Basel FC, six years ago. He guided Basel for two seasons before his appointment as the 2010 FNB Legacy head coach.
The 40-year-old mentor is equipped with a CAF A coaching license, SAFA Youth coaching certificate, FIFA grassroots coaching certificate and Ajax Cape Town Academy coaching certificate.
