Now or never for TTM

If Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) are serious about securing a place in the promotional play-offs at the end of the season, they must prove it by beating Real Kings at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow afternoon. Apart from the fact that TTM must win the match to enhance their promotional play-off chances, a victory against Real Kings will restore their lost pride.

TTM donated points to their opponents in the last four matches. It remains to be seen whether the Kings’ defenders will be able to stop the TTM goal poachers, Monde Mpambaniso, Themba Ndlovu and Aluwani “Killer” Nedzamba. Should they fail to collect the maximum points tomorrow, TTM must forget about taking part in the promotional play-offs at the end of the season.

The fact that Real Kings are also one of the five promotional play-off contenders is reason enough for the local football fanatics to expect a thriller.

The relegations candidates, Uthongathi FC and Ubuntu Cape Town, will fight for the league points at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban. Ubuntu are sharpened to kill after beating Super Eagles 3-0 away from home last Saturday.

Mbombela United will host Stellenbosch FC at the Kabokweni Stadium in Nelspruit. Highlands Park will host Mthatha Bucks at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa. Highlands Park are already promoted to the elite division and their remaining four league matches will be a formality. Pretoria University will entertain Cape Town All Stars at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria.

Black Leopards will undertake a journey to eMalahleni on Sunday. They will battle it out against Witbank Spurs at the Puma Rugby Stadium. Jomo Cosmos will pay a visit to Royal Eagles at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg, while Richards Bay FC will host Super Eagles at the Umhlatuze Sports Complex in Richards Bay.
